This fly is a stripped down pheasant tail nymph (PTN), thread frenchie style. A dark coffee bead with natural looking colors it’s just a ‘hint’ of flash is now a staple in my fly box. It has a good sink rate with very few materials slowing it down. This fly is great for those more picky fish wanting more natural looking flies without sacrificing the sink rate.
