RS2- a deadly classic emerger nymph midge pattern for tailwaters and freestones that can be fished all year round. A midday go-to fly in my fly box when fished in a two-nymph rig as the tailend fly. Also a great option for slow sipping rising trout during an active midge hatch.

This version, tied on a TMC2488 hook, features a UTC 70 black or grey thread body, pointed white two stem tail, and thin white wing back.
