Sassafras Special

My oldest daughter picked out  handful of materials and helped me put them on a hook. Needless to say, my ‘Sassafras’ picked some killer combos and this fly flat out catches fish. I was skeptical about the tortoise bead, but after plenty of R&D, I can confidently say this fly has turned some bad days to good days on the water. Makes it even sweeter that my daughter helped design and name this fly!
