The cast in tool caddy is pre drilled with 3/8 and 1/2” holes for tool storage. Stem collar is cast in and bored to 3/8” which is compatible with US made vises. (Bore can be enlarged to accommodate european vise stems, stonfo, Jvise). With a locking bolt and hex key to lock in vise stem. Divided storage trays for material orginization with four magnetic smaller compartments for hooks and beads. Stout protective rubber feet. Cast aluminum, while remarkably strong and stable, is softer than steel and will not dull hooks or fine edged tools. It will also never rust.
