- Whitlock's Waking Minnow should need little to no introduction. But it is a top water popper like fly that is meant to "wake" on a semi steady strip to entice fish.
This is a great tried a true pattern that should be in everyone's bass box! Don't think that it doesn't deserve a spot in your trout box either though.
