The Goodwin Beaver ponds were a keystone to my family and close friends where we all grew up fishing and making memories.  This culminated with one final trip in 2018 where all of brothers and sister made the trip up there to capture pictures and memories to share with my father before he passed the following spring.\u003cspan style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eThis net was my first personal design of a landing net. It was developed to be the perfect Brook Trout Stream net.   The Goodwin is a triangular shaped net that is 11” – 12” on each side with rounded corners.\u003cspan style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eThis is a great net for the small streams where memories that last a lifetime are made.\u003co:p\u003e\u003c\/o:p\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eNet frames are composed of 3 separate layers of hardwood approximately 1\/8” thick that are steamed, glued, and bent around a frame to form the net.\u003cspan style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eNets are finished with two coats of tung oil and 6 coats of Spar Varnish.\u003cspan style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eEach net comes complete with an aged brass D-ring to be able to attach to any type of lanyard or carabiner of choice.\u003cspan style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eThe hole the D-ring goes through is lined with brass tubing to provide long life of wear and to seal the wood from taking on moisture.\u003cspan style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"\u003e  \u003c\/span\u003eThis handle design on the base of the net is designed to avoid splitting issues that come with the use of eye hooks.\u003cspan style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\"\u003e   \u003c\/span\u003eThe net itself is a rubber net that is the safest for the fish and each net is triple stitched to the frame to provide a long life of use.
